Fences rules
How to play Fences
Fences is a loop logic puzzle about edges. Draw one continuous closed line around the grid while matching every visible number.
Goal
Draw a single loop on grid edges. The loop cannot branch, split, or leave loose ends. When the puzzle is solved, every line segment belongs to one connected loop.

What the numbers mean
- A number tells you how many of that square's four edges are part of the loop.
- A 0 means none of the four surrounding edges are used.
- A 3 means exactly three surrounding edges are used.
- Blank squares give no direct count, but their edges still have to fit the final loop.
Controls
Click or tap an edge to cycle through empty, line, and marker. Markers are notes for edges you believe should stay empty.
